Confirm the application stage
A consultation document, an announced call and an open application window are different things. The official Centru Region page for Action 2.2, Call 2 records a consultation period in April and May 2026. That alone does not establish that applications are open today. Read the current applicant guide, amendments and submission notice before making financial commitments.
Define the change in your business
Start with a process that needs improvement. An online shop may require stock synchronisation, invoicing and order handling. A service company may need enquiry intake, customer records and reporting. Write down the current process, the proposed change and how staff will check that the system works. A generic request for a modern website is too vague for both a developer and a funding application.
Separate costs and responsibilities
Ask for an itemised scope. Distinguish design, development, data migration, licences, training, hosting and maintenance. Your funding adviser should check which items the particular programme accepts. The technical supplier should describe what it will deliver and how it will be tested. Do not let either role silently assume the other has approved eligibility.
Prepare an evidence folder
Keep the applicable guide version, written clarifications, quotations, contracts, acceptance checks and invoices together. Confirm the eligible start date before commissioning work. Plan your own cash contribution and recurring operating costs even if the application succeeds. Decide who owns the domain, code, business data and provider accounts after delivery.
